Mayweather Sr. Reveals Another Son
Grand Rapids Michigan Press has reported that  19 year old Golden Glove Boxer Justin Jones has just found out within the past month that his Father is none other than Floyd Mayweather Sr. Jones who will compete in a Golden Gloves Tourney this weekend was quoted as saying "Since I was 16 and started coming up to the gym, people kept telling me I looked like a Mayweather."
As to the announcement Floyd Sr. said, "They said it was 99.9 percent positive and that was close enough for me!" Jones is already an accomplished boxer and now with his new found Father, who plans on working with Justin in the future, we may have another in a long line of fighting Mayweather Champions.

Duddy Career Smartly Handled By Irish Ropes Promotions
John Duddy who has been of very few prospects and contenders to say no to HBO, is on the right path and he can thank the wise counsel of Irish Ropes for his success so far. Looking at an outline his itinerary it is apparent his management has the Irish fighters best interest in mind, take a look at the plans:
Duddy is going to be in the main event vs. TBA on May 11 on ESPN 2,(may be pushed back one week), promoted by Irish Ropes. After that look for Duddy to head to his roots to fight June 30 in Ireland and with a victory he'll probably go back to Europe in late August for a European title fight. Unless HBO or Showtime offers him real money, Irish Ropes will go global with John and cash in on his growing popularity. Main Events wants to match Duddy with Giovanni on HBO's BAD in New York, but HBO/BAD don't compensate their fighters that well and John can make more $$ elsewhere. Of course, one solid offer can change everything, but as it looks right now, Duddy has chosen a more friendly and lucrative path, all thanks to Irish Ropes Promotions.

We mistaken gave credit to the wrong promoter guiding Duddy's career and we apologize for that error, bad mistake. Main Events wants Duddy to fight their guy Lorenzo Giovanni on HBO B.A.D. and has made an offer. We stand corrected.

Ivaylo Gotzev Denies Peter Will Be On May 19 Taylor/Spinks Card
When asked to verify a rumor that Sam Peter is close to taking the step aside money form Maskaev and Klitschko and then take a stay busy fight on the  HBO undercard in May, Gotzev said, "Where did you hear that? No one has talked with me about that! No that is not true at all, Sam Peter has no plans to be on anyone's under card." End of discussion...
