The Way Under Undercard
It's common practice for the media members to grab their meal during the early bouts and sit in the media room, all the while keeping an eye on the TV screens in the house to keep up on all the action in the ring. Call it killing to birds with one stone, or feeding your face while watching the fights...whatever. The point I am trying to make is the TV screens in the media room will always keep you on top of the events going on a few doors down...well almost always.
This Saturday while the non PPV cards
were taking place I looked up and said to myself, "Geez that
guy looks like Evander Holyfield....wait a minute...it is
Holyfield!" That's right folks, Instead of the live fights
in the arena the hungry media was treated to ESPN Classics
and the HolyField/Bowe trilogy.
Give all the fighters not on PPV this
past Saturday the Rodney Dangerfield, "I Get No Respect"
award.
