There were heavy weekend ticket sales for Top Rank's big 'Blaze of Glory' PPV championship card featuring Manny Pacquiao vs. unbeaten Jorge Solis on April 14 at the Alamodome in San Antonio

Sales are on track for 'Blaze of Glory' to be the 2nd-largest boxing event in the history of San Antonio, exceeded only by the historic Chavez vs Whitaker fight in 1993.

"We're thrilled with the response from the fans," said Bob Arum of Top Rank. "They know this is a very interesting and exciting boxing card with Pacquiao against Solis plus there are so many top fighters in matches which really mean something."

Blaze of Glory includes Jorge Arce in a hot matchup with world champion Cristian Mijares; with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in his biggest fight of his young career and with Brian 'Hawaiann Punch' Viloria squaring up against Edgar Sosa with a world title at stake.
