"I was spending a months salary to see a boxing
match most likely before you were
born(1960), at the time I had spent the previous 10-12 years
listening on radio, then later watching boxing on
TV(when it was the latest new
thing). I have flown cross country, driven 700-800
miles, hitch hiked and even
ridden a Greyhound bus to boxing matches all over America. I have a
stack of boxing Magazines
(and I've read them ) taller than Shaquille Oneal. I marched with Dr Martin Luther King to Selma, and am
a veteran of the Vietnam war. I
played college football, and tried out for the US
Olympic weight lifting team....People I know will tell you they have
seldom heard a foul word from me ever, I
still call most men "SIR" and most women "Mamn" I
always speak politely to
people and give every man or woman the respect I believe all human
beings deserve. As to whether
I'm a real boxing fan or not you are welcome to
your own opinion. REGARDS/BOB"
