Billy Joe Saunders dethroned WBO Middleweight
World Champion Andy Lee with a 12-round majority decision
Saturday on SHOWTIME BOXING INTERNATIONAL from Manchester,
England. The fight was scored 115-111, 114-112 and 113-113.
In a matchup of tactical southpaws, an explosive third round
from Saunders (23-0, 12 KOs) was the difference. The British
challenger floored Lee twice – first with a big right hook and
again with a counter right just 30 seconds later – and a dazed

his World title charge following an impressive
performance against Derek Edwards (27-6-1, 14 KOs)
tonight in Nyköping, Sweden.
The 24 year-old Swede used his height and reach
advantage to good effect, keeping Edwards at range
throughout the ten-round contest. Despite trailing on
points, Edwards remained a threat as he looked to land
his big overhand right.

middleweight Renan St-Juste. St-Juste (26-4-1), a southpaw who
was ranked in the Top 10 in the world in 2011 in the 160 pounds
division, will face the Canadian middleweight champion, Francis
Lafrenière (10-5-2), another Montrealer who is training by

Statement On Glazkov vs. Martin

Today the IBF held a purse bid for the upcoming
battle between Vyacheslav "Czar" Glazkov (21-0-1, 13 KOs) and
Charles Martin (22-0-1, 20 KOs) for the vacant IBF Heavyweight
World Title at their offices in Springfield, NJ, which Warriors
