Mayweather Jr. Is Delusional.
Actually Thinks He’s The Reason Tickets Sold Out In 3 Hours By Bret "The Threat" Newton That’s it, I can’t take it anymore! First it’s the act he put on after the Baldomir fight with the fake tears claiming "one more fight", which was topped with "that’s right, go out on top" by some equally as delusional fans. Now this. It’s one thing to play or fit the bad guy role. Floyd can be the villain all he wants. Boxing needs villains in fact, but when was the last time one of them was so cocky, so egotistical to believe things that weren’t actually true, and to still believe it even if you showed them the facts on paper right in front of their face? Floyd is the only one I can think of at the moment. Here’s a fighter downing Ricky Hatton’s ticket sales in America, and yet Floyd himself has never before sold a fight out. The funny part is that he thinks it’s his fight, and that he’s the reason it sold out, and puts an emphasis on "fights" like he does it all the time. When asked about Hatton, Floyd had this to say: "Don't talk to me about Ricky Hatton. I'll tell you about Ricky Hatton. He came over to America and only sold 6,000 tickets. My fights sell out in three hours. I could go over to England and sell more tickets than Ricky Hatton. I'm the top dog." Ok, first off I know that Floyd likes to exaggerate then believe his own mysterious thoughts and ideas, but how can you sell more tickets in Manchester when Hatton has sold out the M.E.N. Arena each and every single time no matter who he’s faced, yet Floyd himself in Las Vegas has empty seats in even just his last two fights, including those who walked out during the Carlos Baldomir fight? Answer that Floyd. Floyd could say two plus two equals five and when you point out to him that there’s no way possible for it to be that way, he’d still believe in his Twilight Zone way of thinking. Sure it’s good to believe in yourself, and sure some of it’s act and play, more promotion to sell tickets in what could be the highest grossing non heavyweight fight in history, possibly more. There’s just a limit to what’s believed I think and Floyd has long passed that limit. Oscar DeLaHoya could fight Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and the tickets would sell out in 3 hours as well. Heck, he could fight a retired Chavez Sr. for a third time and do the same. It’s because it’s OSCAR DELAHOYA! Oscar could fight John Doe and create a sell out. Mayweather fights a popular fighter in order for tickets to roll. "Arturo Gatti" were the chants roaring in that fight with Floyd, so he cant surely think he sold out Atlantic City. Well, maybe he did now that I think about it. Everyone DOES want to see Floyd Mayweather fight. Everyone DOES want to hurry up and buy tickets which create a sell out in every next Mayweather Jr. fight. It’s because they all can’t wait
to see him lose! |
